Pacesetter STATE Update:Wednesday, March 27

We are finalizing teams today and will be starting to map out the master schedule. Brackets will be created ASAP – our goal is to send them on Monday.

As you can imagine, it is a challenge with over 100 teams playing on two days, so please be patient and do not call us to ask about times or the brackets. They will be sent to team contacts THE MOMENT they are ready and posted on our website shortly thereafter. Thank you.

The State brackets for Grades 4-7 will all be played on Sunday, April 7.

Boys’ teams in 8th-9th grade that can play Saturday will play Saturday and Sunday, so make your plans accordingly. We would like to start some games as early as 10:00 am Saturday if possible, so it is important to know who can play Saturday. Tracey has been collecting this information. Girls’ teams in 8th and 9th grade will play their State games on Sunday only.

We have enough teams to run 6 courts Saturday and 12 courts on Sunday, so we are looking forward to an exciting weekend of state tournament basketball.

We have courts reserved at: Whitney Rec Center, St. Cloud Tech High School, Apollo High School, South Junior High and Sauk Rapids-Rice Schools.

CURRENT COUNT REGISTERED – 8th-9th grade State
9th Boys – 23 teams
8th Boys – 13 teams
8th Girls – 6 teams
9th Girls – 4 teams

Starting times vary by bracket, so we won’t be releasing any times until all brackets are finalized.
Good luck with your plans. We will provide more updates after the brackets are completed.

Best regards,
Jeff
